Virtual Summer Learning Program

The UCDSB will be running a three-week virtual summer learning program from July 5-July 23, 2021.  The Virtual Summer Learning program will focus on closing gaps in literacy and numeracy from K-8, prepare older students for de-streamed Grade 9 math, and give students a chance to have some fun with coding!  

This program runs from 9:00 a.m. - 12 p.m., Monday to Friday, from July 5 to July 23. It is being provided in an online format with synchronous (real time) teacher-led instruction for 2.5 hours a day. Students will engage in literacy, math, coding activities and Indigenous education each morning for the duration of the program. This is a three-week program and students would be expected to attend each morning.

Experiential Learning Opportunities (Coding)

Students will be expected to be online from 9:00 to 11:30 on each day of the program

Those who are interested in
 taking part in this program can express their interest using the 
K-8 Summer Learning Program Online Form. The form will accept responses until June 22. Space is limited. Confirmation of registration will be sent to families by June 25.
